About Our School

 

Rules and Regulations:

-Attendance is very important to make certain each student's progress remain on track with their home school. Students are required to attend 63% of the day to be considered present. Any students arriving after 8:00 a.m. are required to have a parent/guardian check them in. 

-Checkouts are not allowed after 2:00 p.m. to ensure the safety of our students. If a student has an appointment, please check them out before 2:00 p.m. There will be no exceptions. Doctor's excuses should be presented upon return to school. 

-Emergency Contact Cards should be on file for each student in the office. If a student does not have ER Contact Card on file they will not be allowed to checkout.

-School Sponsored Events- Students in attendance at either Alternative School are not allowed to attend any school sponsored events. This includes but not limited to: any/all sporting events, school dances, etc.

Dress Code:

-All students are required to wear school uniforms. The uniform colors are according to your school zone. 

-No bookbags are allowed.

-Jewelry is prohibited (no necklaces, chains and medallions, bangle bracelets, etc.). Females may wear studs and males may not wear earrings at all. 

Transportation:

Car riders should be dropped off and picked up at the pedestrian walk located at the Alternative School entrance.

Bus riders should behave accordingly on the school bus to ensure the safety of travel for students and free of distraction for the bus driver.
